Description
I've only recently started learning how to use a film SLR, so I wasn't really expecting any of the photos on my first role of film to be anything special. Not surprisingly, when I went to pick up the prints I was told none of them had come out. I was disappointed, but it's all part of the learning curve I guess!
Despite this, I asked to keep the negatives and had a quick look though them. I noticed a couple of dark shapes, but I don't have a darkroom or a negative scanner. The only way I could think of finding out what the photos were, was to hold the negatives against a window and take a photo with my dSLR.
I took some fiddling around in photoshop, but I managed to salvage these shots from the roll of film. I know they're grainy and the quality isn't amazing, but I really like them anyway. They're my first photos taken on film so they'll always mean something to me. And hopefully the next set will come out properly!
The bottom photo was taken by ~I-am-Not-An-Acrobat btw! He's amazing, check his stuff out (:

I actually really like them! Don't be discouraged. Most times when the people at the photo studio tell me the photos "didn't come out" I tell them to scan them for me anyway, since my idea of what's good enough and theirs is often very different (since I actually quite like the grain and the blur and all things technically wrong XD). So yeah. Have fun with film and keep trying
